Nexuiz Still in Development

By Michelle Balsan, 7 years ago
First announced in July of 2010, Illfonic's XBLA, CryEngine 3-based shooter Nexuiz is, in fact, still in development. At least, that's if this post at the Australian Ratings Board site is anything to go by.

We don't have much more information than that, though the post also reveals THQ as the publisher and lists "violence" as the cause of the game's M rating.

Nexuiz, which is an update of the free-to-play title of the same name, will likely be released sometime next year. Only time will tell the impact of CryEngine 3 on the game's development over the original, which was developed using the Quake 1 engine, but one has to imagine at the very least that the game will be substantially better looking.

We'll have more details for you as they're released.
