The main focus for FarSight Studios when making The Pinball Arcade
is the authenticity and "real" pinball action. One of the obvious aspects of making this feel authentic would then be the ball physics. Below is a short trailer showing off their new ball tech.
Another extremely important aspect are the tables. That's a no brainer, right? The developers look to resurrect classic tables for all eras, with the following three tables originally released across a span of three different decades.Black Hole
Tales of the Arabian Nights
Ripley's Believe It or Not!
Replicating and making these tables can be a complicated task, all the way down to acquiring the proper licenses and such. This is something FarSight explained in great detail in their developer diary
we covered previously.
Pinball enthusiasts won't have to wait much longer, as The Pinball Arcade
is scheduled for release on XBLA this month.
