FarSight Studios announced via their Facebook page that The Pinball Arcade
will be missing its targeted January release date. The delay applies to several different platforms, including XBLA.
The developers are working closely to accommodate the schedules of all the different platforms. The decision was made to delay the game to better fit all of their schedules, hence the new March release date. Farsight stated they'll use this additional time to make additions and tweaks based off of fan feedback.
On a more positive note, FarSight hinted at future DLC tables to be made available in the coming months. One will be the 'Aces High' table, which has a gambling, riverboat type theme. The actual table was originally released in 1965! This table isn't just retro, it could serve as a history lesson. You can also look forward to the Cirqus Voltaire table, which as you may have guessed features a circus theme.
To add to the recent flux of videos
we've covered, we have a few screens to share as well that were released a short time ago.
As stated, The Pinball Arcade
is now slated for late March.
