Silent Hill HD Delay Confirmed by Konami

By Mark Delaney, 6 years ago
The recent rumors of a Silent Hill HD Collection release delay frightened gamers more than turning a corner in the titular, foggy town. Sadly, Konami has confirmed today that the rumors are indeed true. Silent Hill HD Collection has been delayed to an unspecified day in March.

The news is especially painful because the game was originally slated for a Fall 2011 release before being delayed until January 24th. The rumors first began just days ago when retailer's websites were noticed to have adjusted their expected dates of arrival from the January date to March 6th. Now it seems both the HD Collection and Silent Hill: Downpour will creep into stores in March.

Konami promises to address the faithful fans and retailers alike with updated, accurate release dates for all three Silent Hill games (including the PS Vita's) sometime this week.
