PES 2010 Server Shutdown

By Ashley Woodcock,
The sharp eyes of TA community member SIMON HAMILTON, have spotted a "Termination of Network Service" notice regarding the servers for Pro Evolution Soccer 2010.

Unfortunately we managed to miss this announcement when it was originally released on Christmas day last year, but having spotted it now, it's only right we get this out to those who could potentially be affected by this server-closure. The notice is short and sweet, and simply states:

The online service for Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will be terminated on 6:00 1/31/2012 (UTC). We would like to thank you for your loyal support. We would also like to thank you for your continued support of the PES series titles.
With the servers being terminated in a week, this makes these two achievements unobtainable in the future:

Pro Evolution Soccer 2010Winning Streak(Online)The Winning Streak(Online) achievement in Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 worth 80 pointsAwarded when you have 5 successive Ranked match wins in the Online.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010High Win Ratio(Online)The High Win Ratio(Online) achievement in Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 worth 150 pointsAwarded when you achieve a win ratio of above 75% in Last 20 results of Online.

With such a small amount of time remaining for those who may not already know about the server-closure, boosting these two achievements could be pretty tough. But with a bit of sharp and efficient organization, it could be done, so be sure to set-up or join boosting sessions as necessary and spread the word, as only two people currently have the game on their boost list!

For all of you in need of these online-only achievements, good luck! January 31st is the date these server's will take a bow.
