Mass Effect 3 Demos its Kinect-ibility

By Mark Delaney, 6 years ago
Whenever a game offers optional Kinect functionality, Microsoft uses the slogan "Better With Kinect" across the game's box. But is a core action-RPG really suited for the added Kinect abilities? Is Kinect best left for fitness games and family titles, or do we just think it is? Maybe Kinect can offer a more robust experience with a game, no matter the target demographic. We first heard about's Kinect compatibility at E3 last year, and last week we saw a new ME3 Kinect trailer, but now we get to see the full walkthrough.

What do you think of the demo?

In related Mass Effect news, Bioware announced that purchasing any of their collectible figurines from their Mass Effect series of toys will net you some DLC for use in ME3. It's not anything like new mission packs, of course, but they do hint at cool stuff like new weapons, with mods and upgrades, as well as new characters and character boosters.
