Gameplay and More Brought to the DiRT Showdown

By Rebecca Smith, 6 years ago
Gameplay footage is one thing that we haven't seen for Codemasters' upcoming DiRT franchise spin-off Not any more; we have not one, but three gameplay videos for you to watch today, as well as new screenshots and artwork.

The first ‘Crash and Burn’ video features pre-alpha footage of the 8 Ball event on a dusty dirt circuit in the middle of the Nevada desert. Eight racers tackle jumps and the crunch of the crossover point as they jostle for first place. Fireworks and fire cannons add to the atmosphere as drivers use boost to speed through the gaps and smash into rival drivers.

If that isn't enough for you, Gametrailers managed to get their hands on exclusive footage showing more of the 8 Ball event in the Nevada desert:

The final video shows footage of Rampage mode in San Francisco, one of the game's demolition derby type of events. Eight vehicles try their hardest to destroy one another, with points awarded for different manoeuvres and damage caused.

Those of you who can't view the videos can instead view the latest screenshots for the game, showing some of the above 8 Ball and Rampage action:
