Jurassic Park Canceled for European Dinostores

By Mark Delaney, 6 years ago
Last year, North American gamers were able to get their hands on Jurassic Park: The Game, a story-driven, quicktime event-laden tale set in the popular theme park from the movies and books. While the game received mixed to low review scores, and low sales figures, (just a 3.4 from 79 tracked gamers on TA) European gamers were probably still hoping to try it out for themselves. Unfortunately, the game's publisher, Kalypso Media, has announced that the dinosaurs won't be coming to Europe, at least not on the 360.

The PC version of the game is still on schedule for its February 24th release, but Xbox 360 gamers will have to take their hopes of the game's easy achievements and mystery-resolving plot and preserve them in amber. The game was released digitally on other platforms in North America, like PSN, but the 360 version was only ever intended for retail stores, so it appears, at least for now, that the game won't be coming to Europe in any format.

To end on a brighter note, Telltale Games is at least still working on their comic-style adaptation of The Walking Dead.
