CYANIDE is bravely attempting to bring a Game of Thrones
RPG to the Xbox 360 later this year. The game will follow two new characters, Mors and Alester
in an original adventure within the kingdom of Westeros. Along the way, the mismatched Brother of the Night's Watch and Red Priest will come across settings both familiar, such as The Wall
and locations previously unheard of, such as Alester's home town of Riverspring.
Today's video brings us to the troubled waterside town of Riverspring and Sarwyck Keep, the home of its ruling family. A vacant lordship and civil unrest greet Alester Sarwyck, one of the game's two main characters, as he returns home after a fifteen-year self-imposed exile. He arrives as the town mourns the passing of his father, the elder Lord Sarwyck, forcing Alester to consider reclaiming rule of Riverspring and restoring order to his lordship.
Now I have read the entire series and yet I do not recall the town of Riverspring. Is it an original creation or did I overlook something due to my man-crush on Tyrion?Edit:
Since the publication of this article, Focus Home Interactive has since released a few screenshots showing Riverspring in all of its glory.Game of Thrones
will be available worldwide this May.
