Demo Roundup: February 7th, 2012

By Michelle Balsan,
Today's demo cache increased by three, depending on your region. A pair of magic-themed games now have trials available for download in many regions, and a third title makes its demo debut on the British Marketplace.

First, we have Kinect: Disneyland Adventures, which is a Kinect-enabled tour through, well, Disneyland. Of course, there are various tasks to do, but it's certainly far more entertaining when going through one of the world's most iconic tourist attractions, right? The 580MB can be downloaded right here. This demo is Gold-exclusive.

Experience Disneyland magic like never before! Fly, dance and dive into iconic attractions, share special moments with beloved Disney characters and take on challenging quests with the controller-free magic of Kinect for Xbox 360 – and a touch of pixie dust. Kinect™: Disneyland® Adventures is your ticket to explore the timeless lands of Disneyland® park right in your living room.
Also available this week is a demo for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. This 660MB demo will serve as an introduction to the world of Harry Potter in brick form and can be downloaded from here. This demo is available to anyone, regardless of subscription

Experience the magic of Harry Potter’s first 4 years at Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in an exciting new way. LEGO® Harry Potter™: Years 1-4 combines the first four Harry Potter books and films in an interactive fun-filled videogame. Players can build the adventure from Privet Drive to the Triwizard Tournament through new LEGO gameplay elements like magical building and spell-casting. Select from over 100 playable characters including Harry Potter, Ron Weasley™ and Hermione Granger™. Experience the wonder of Hogwarts: attend lessons, mix potions, fly on broomsticks, and complete tasks to collect LEGO studs and relive the adventures like never before with tongue-in-cheek humour and creative customisation unique to LEGO videogames.
Finally, arriving on the UK Marketplace is a hefty 1.2GB demo for Divinity II: Ego Draconis (EU), which you can pick up right here. This same demo hit the American Marketplace in December 2009.

Ego Draconis Many years have passed since the darkness of Damian’s armies was repelled and he was banished from the world of Rivellon. While men enjoy their first years of real peace, Damian breaks free from his bonds and returns to take vengeance. And with him come the dragons... You are the only thing that stands in the way of evil. In this new installment of the award-winning Divinity series, you must face your destiny and become one of the world’s most mysterious and powerful beings: a Dragon Knight. Fight as both human and dragon, use your powerful battle tower as your base of operations, create your own creatures to support you in battle, and delve deep into a story that unfolds depending on your choices. Your decisions will determine the fate of Rivellon.
