Spec Ops: The Line Dev Diary & Screens Released

By Ashley Woodcock, 4 years ago
Not a lot of news has been released for 2K Games' upcoming third-person shooter, Spec Ops: The Line. But with this freshly released batch of screenshots and trailer featuring an interview with the games' senior designer, Shawn Frison, we could be looking at some more potential interviews with other team members and hopefully more screenshots and gameplay trailers for the title.

Starting with the dev diary, 2KTV questions Shawn about the factors that have helped build the game, including inspirations, environments, the games' location and the strenghts of the game. Check out the trailer as Shawn answers questions, and clips of gameplay footage are shown between each answer showing off vehicles and the kind of action we can all expect once the game releases:

The screenshots come with plenty of graphic details besides just sand, with soldiers in action in many different locations on foot and in choppers. Soldiers appear to be K.I.A, while some are pretty harshly hung from street lights. Check out the screens for yourself:

Spec Ops: The Line is still scheduled for a Spring 2012 release, hopefully a more specific release date will be announced soon. Whilst we eagerly await, why not check out the most previously covered gameplay trailer, and even more screenshots here.
