New Lollipop Chainsaw Screens Released

If there's something that Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games' Lollipop Chainsaw has done well right from the get-go, it's grab our attention. Now that it has a firm grasp on us, the trailers and screens have been pouring in and no one seems to be complaining.

Recently, Kadokawa Games announced that Lollipop Chainsaw will be released in Japan in May. Warner Bros, sadly, has not announced a date for other regions as yet.

Here's what we know about the Japanese edition: It will come in a standard and premium editions, though they will cost the same amount (7.980 yen for those who want to know). Those who order the premium edition will get access to an exclusive "Rider Suit".

The standard edition of the game comes with two skins, which are also included in the premium edition. Here's Juliet in the Killer Bunny and Casual outfits:

Right now, we don't know if these same editions and suits will be released in other territories, but we'll of course keep you posted.

In other screen news, it seems the developers felt that we've seen plenty of pictures of Juliet to this point, so they have now released hi-quality images of some of the other characters in the game, though we don't have names for all the faces just yet.

How will Juliet be taking down her foes? With a chainsaw of course, so here are three screens of chainsaws you'll get in the game:

Finally, let's put that all together with a collection of screenshots featuring in-game action:

Lollipop Chainsaw is due for release some time later this year. We can likely expect it in North American and European stores sometime after Japan's May launch window.
