HBO Go App Coming to Xbox LIVE on April 1st

By Mark Delaney, 6 years ago
Some of the greatest programs in the history of television have been seen on HBO; The Sopranos, The Wire, Flight of the Conchords, the list goes on and on. Finally, the dashboard app for HBO's streaming service, HBO Go, is coming to Xbox this spring. We already knew it was on its way, but it hadn't yet been included among the numerous updates the dashboard has received lately.

Like many of the apps available, you'll need to be a subscriber to HBO and a Xbox LIVE Gold member to access the application, but if you meet those requirements, this update is sure to please you. HBO Go offers every episode of every show they have ever released, as well as a library of movies, documentaries, and sports and comedy specials. Whether you want to watch Larry David rip social etiquette or you want to live out the days of prohibition-era America, it'll all be available right on your dashboard starting April 1st.

I know some of you are opposed to Xbox adding more multimedia options, but if you do like the idea of this, I'm curious, what shows will you be watching when the app is released?
