New Counter-Strike: GO Screens Are Oscar Mike

Counter Strike's behind-the-scenes story is a fascinating one for fans of gaming. What began as a mod for Half-Life has spawned into, still to this day, one of the most popular competitive online shooters in the history of the industry. Of course, PC gaming is a dangerous place, what with all of the belligerent fanboys waiting to take you down with a quick headshot. Perhaps because of that, Counter-Strike is set to invade your Xbox 360, as you may have known already.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is due out sometime in 2012, which, in Valve-Time, is July of next year.
