Super T.I.M.E. Force Headed to XBLA By Michelle Balsan, 09 Mar 2012 CommentsThis year, during the Independent Games Festival, Microsoft sponsored a prize dubbed the "XBLA Prize". The winner would get a guaranteed first-party publishing deal throughout Microsoft LIVE, including the Xbox LIVE Arcade and the Windows Phone platform. In addition, Microsoft will provide funding to complete the game and provide several first-party support services. The lucky winner of the XBLA Prize was Capybara Games with their entry Super T.I.M.E Force. If you're not familiar with Capybara Games, that's because they've largely been an iOS developer to this point, and are probably most known for their work on Superbrothers Sword & Sworcery EP. They are not altogether unfamiliar with XBLA, however, as they were the development team behind Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes. So just what is Super T.I.M.E. Force? They haven't released much in the way of details, but we can tell you for sure it features intense amounts of action, takes place in space, and is presented in a retro style. If you want to check out a video, you can view the one posted at the game's official site.Congratulations to Capybara on securing the XBLA Prize. There's no release date or other details yet for the title, but we'll be sure to bring them to you as they're announced.Upcoming ReleaseXBLA Written by Michelle BalsanMichelle is the Assistant Manager of the Newshounds at TrueAchievements and has been a member of staff since 2010.
