Risen 2 Dev Diary Washes Ashore

By Mark Delaney, 6 years ago
Every worthy swashbuckler needs a killer soundtrack (usually with lots of string instruments) with which to steal, raid, and loot. This new developer diary from the pirates behind Risen 2: Dark Waters focuses on the game's music; specifically, they discuss how gaming music is composed sometimes before the devs have a build to get inspiration from.

In other Risen 2 news, the game's release date has received a bit of clarification. The April 27th date that we have previously reported on is in fact only the street date for the game's non-GfWL PC release. If you're hoping to loot the game for consoles, you'll have to wait a bit longer — May 22nd in North America and May 25th in Europe. This developer diary is the fourth in a six-part series, so keep it here with us leading up to release.
