Netflix App Gets A Few Changes

By Mark Delaney, 6 years ago
Next time you start up Netflix to catch up on LOST (Do it. Now. Go watch LOST), or any other show, you may notice a few minor changes that should improve the quality of the service. Major Nelson reported the following changes:

Skip Forward/Skip Back allows you to move through movies quickly and between TV episodes easily. And with Kinect, just use your voice or the wave of your hand to activate this function.

Zoom function lets you enlarge letterboxed video content to full screen.

Better color contrast makes content more vivid and black levels darker.

Single sign on with cloud profile makes it easier to access your Netflix account on another Xbox, wherever you are.
Personally, I was hoping for a change that prevents TV shows from starting up once selected. I like to be able to pick my episode before the show starts, not while an episode plays, but I think it operates the way it does for its Kinect users. These changes are a good start, though.
