Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions have confirmed that a title update will be available for XBLA first-person shooter, Gotham City Impostors
In a break from the tradition of providing the details in a press release, a short and light-hearted video has been revealed instead. It's probably best to let the comical voiceover explain the finer points.
However, since you may not have access to the video, then the following describes exactly what is included. Firstly, there's a new map titled The East End - a tight urban area, featuring alleyways and plenty of places to hide, which gamers will be able to utilise across all game modes. Also, Bounty Hunter is an all-new team deathmatch variant game mode, where players need to collect gold coins by either killing enemy players or recovering the coins that are spilled when their team mates are killed. The coins will prove useful as they result in a damage boost. Lastly, the development team has added more in-game character voice options. The extra possibilities are purely aimed at adding further fun elements to Gotham City Impostors
, ranging from multiple languages to different voice tones and moods.
Best of all, the title update and all of the new features are free of charge. There is no release date for the patch as yet, but we'll let you know when we get one.
