Le Tour de France 2012 Cycles Into Contention

Le Tour de France 2011 was the first console retail release of the long-running PC sports simulation Pro Cycling Manager. The game received a fair amount of commercial success in Europe so the franchise is returning with a second retail outing for consoles: Le Tour de France 2012

This latest instalment will include improved graphics, a new control system and realistic AI. Although details were scarce, there will also be a multiplayer mode included for the first time in the franchise's history. New rider models, teams and "more beautiful scenery" is what developer Cyanide is hoping will make the title stand out from last year's effort. Check out the first screenshots:

Le Tour de France 2012 is due to be released in June 2012.
