Konami Patching Both Recent Silent Hill Games

By Mark Delaney, 6 years ago
In a brief announcement on Facebook today, Konami announced that they are actively working with the developers of both https://www.trueachievements.com/Silent-Hill-HD-xbox-360.htm and https://www.trueachievements.com/Silent-Hill-Downpour-x....htm to patch each of the games' bugs. While the HD Collection has only minor bugs and is plagued much more on PS3, Downpour can be pretty messy at times.

Understanding the issues some users are experiencing, development teams are currently creating online patches for both games, which will fix the frame rate issues, the audio-synching in Silent Hill HD Collection, and the Auto-Save issues in Silent Hill Downpour. Players have voiced their concerns, and solutions to these issues will be fixed and launched in the coming weeks.
The "Auto-Save issues" are found in Downpour when the game bizarrely auto-saves on such a frequent basis that much of the time, the game lags out for a brief moment. This and other minor fixes will be made available soon, according to Konami. Keep it here with TA and we'll let you know as soon as they go live.
