Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Announced

Over the course of his digital life, I'm pretty sure that Sonic the Hedgehog has logged more miles on his sneakers than Forrest Gump. If there was anyone who needed a break from running, it's everyone's favorite blue hedgehog. Fortunately, SEGA is giving those iconic red sneakers a break and hooking Sonic (and his "All-Star" friends) some wheels in the newly announced, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. Actually, they're hooking the gang up with transforming vehicles that can go from land, to sea, to air, and back again.

Beyond Sonic, the cast of characters will include, Dr Eggman, AiAi, Gilius Thunderhead of https://www.trueachievements.com/Golden-Axe-xbox-360.htm, and Vyse of Skies of Arcadia. Each character will have their own unique, transforming vehicle to race through changing terrain.

David Corless, Global Sonic Brand Director is very excited about the newest entry into the Sonic Franchise:

Given the fantastic feedback we received from critics and consumers alike for the first game we really wanted to push the boundaries on our follow up game, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. The transforming vehicles allow us to do this – as well as drifting your car around the corners of a track, you get to fly your plane and pilot your boat against others all within one race. Add to this a grid full of star characters, retro IP, fun, fast race modes and cool tracks and racing fans of all ages are sure to love this one!
SEGA has graced us with a few screenshots from Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.
