Trivia buffs, get brushing up on your general knowledge! The new season of 1 vs. 100 is coming back to Xbox Live in less than a fortnight, so you had better make sure that you've got your brain screwed on properly and turned right up to 11:
Here’s an easy enough question for starters: If this year’s debut season of 1 vs. 100 proved to be an incredible success onXbox LIVE, do you think the good guys at Xbox would bring back the show? Anyone who answered ‘no’ please sit down.
Oh yes, there is absolutely going to be another Season of 1 vs. 100 on Xbox LIVE. The fun returns from Friday 20 November, and rest assured that Season 2 will bring with it more opportunities for Xbox LIVE Gold Subscribers to win astounding prizes on a weekly basis – from 1000s of Microsoft Points all the way up to things like HD TVs, laptop PCs and much, much more!
1 vs. 100Season 2 is already shaping up to be a bigger and better experience than ever before, with some of the more popular features getting a fabulous makeover. You’ll have to wait and see exactly how everything has changed on Day One. But in between now and 20 November we recommend you all get hard at work on improving your general knowledge.
There's a couple of changes that have already been announced for this season, which are as follows:
- The way that The One is selected has changed, and in Season 2 it's all about SCORE, SCORE, SCORE! The more you score, the higher your chance of being picked!
- Also, if you're chosen as The One you'll enjoy more time in the spotlight with a grand entrance to the studio and some hot new dance moves!
- There will also be new themed trivia every weeknight to tease your brain cells, including "Finish the Lyrics", "80s" and "Vampires"
During the beta season, Microsoft awarded nearly 2 million
Microsoft Points to some of the very lucky/brainy players - definitely not to be sniffed at! In total, the game was downloaded over 3 million times, making it one of the top 10 most downloaded pieces of content on Xbox Live ever!
Season 2 will launch on Thursday 19th November in Canada, France, Germany and USA, and then on Friday 20th in UK and Eire, and run for a total of 14 weeks.
