Music Mayhem Week 1 Recap

By Michelle Balsan, 6 years ago
The first week of Music Mayhem is gone and over with, but we know you all love stats and we love to bring them to you!

Here's Community and Events Team Manager Chad and Jessie to tell you all about how week one went down:

Chad and Jessie said:
Hello fellow TA’ers,

It seems the title of this event has been extremely fitting as, so far, it has been mayhem. In one week, we’ve had over 5000 achievements earned, 250,000 TA score won, and over 900 sessions have already been created. Even with all these achievements and TA score earned, I am shocked that we haven’t seen more of a dent in ratio and TA scores.

Through the first week of Music Mayhem, the one single achievement with the largest drop in ratio and TA score is this one:
Guitar Hero: World TourPlatinum RockstarsThe Platinum Rockstars achievement in Guitar Hero: World Tour worth 395 points100% a song as a band, hard or expert only (4 player band)

During Music Mayhem, this achievement has been won 50 times, for a total of 16,493 TA, and it has lost a WHOPPING total of 3.0 TA score, with a ratio drop of 0.06. Yes, you’re reading those numbers correctly. It went from a 333 TA score with a 6.66 ratio down to 330 TA and a 6.60 ratio - and this was the achievement with the LARGEST change in values!

This achievement,
Guitar Hero: World TourSecret AchievementThe Secret Achievement achievement in Guitar Hero: World Tour worth 63 pointsContinue playing to unlock this secret achievement
which has been won almost 250 times in the first week, hasn’t even dropped a full TA point (only 0.7 TA) and its ratio only lowered by 0.04. I’m really hoping we see a lot more damage to these ratios over the next 3 weeks.

Up to this point, the Community Events Team has been working hard to match up gamers that all need at least one of the achievements in the sessions. For those that haven’t been placed in sessions yet, please check and update your registration here. We’ve noticed a few gamers who we’d like to place in sessions, but can’t because their registration is missing information, specifically checking the box letting us know what instruments you’d like to play. Please make sure to check the instruments, the level of play you feel comfortable playing at for those instruments, your time zone, check and adjust the achievements you want to be placed in sessions for, and finally, add and adjust your available days and times. The more accurate this information is, the better we can match you up.

Right now, we haven’t had too much of an issue finding matches that meet the requirements of the achievements, however, we are starting to dwindle down the expert drummers and vocalists. At some point, we will need to add gamers that already have the achievements into sessions to help others. If you can’t or don’t want to help with achievements you already have, make sure to remove these achievements from your registration page.

For those of you AMAZING community members that have been watching the Community Event Sessions, and filling in when an opening occurs, even when you don’t get any achievements out of it yourself…HUGE THANKS!!! While I don’t want to get too sappy here, it does really mean a lot to see and know that there are lots of really good members of the TA community that want to help spread the joy of achievement hunting. Thanks everyone and let’s continue to ROCK ON!
