Just as 2K games promised, the first DLC for Borderlands has been officially announced and slated for release on November 24th. This additional content will set you back 800 Microsoft Points.
This installment of the Borderlands adventure is titled "The Zombie Island of Dr Ned". 2K Games have stated we'll see "new enemies, new quests and rare loot drops". 2009 sure is turning out to be the year of the Zombie!
Are you guys enjoying Borderlands enough to cough up another $9.99 on top of the $60, or so, you've already paid for the game? 2K Games announced they were working on this DLC shortly before the original package was released. It feels a bit like they were waiting just long enough for you to get addicted and start itching for more, then, offering you another small puff from the crack pipe just to boost revenue. Surely, this content could have been included in the original release. Tactics like this generally tend to anger gamers, is this going to backfire on them?
