UK Deal Roundup for May 22nd, 2012

By Rebecca Smith, 6 years ago
The new and returning sales flood in this week. Tesco, TheHut and Zavvi start new sales, while familiar promotions return at Amazon, Play and Shopto. The random offers continue at ASDA and Zavvi this week. A discount code is being run by TheHut, but we still don’t have any points promotions. As for weekly deals, those belong to GAME, Gamestation, Play, Shopto and TheHut.

As usual you need to click on the name of the retailer or the name of the deal to be taken straight to the retailer’s offer page. Clicking on the name of a game will take you to the achievement list. All prices were correct at the time of writing.

To start off the new and weekly offers of this period, Amazon’s Bargains return. The titles are still the same, but with Guitar Hero 5 at £9.99, that price can’t be beaten this week.

ASDA still has a great offer on Kinect at the moment. Buyers can get a Kinect sensor with Kinect Adventures and Dance Central 2 for £99.

GAME’s Deals of the Week and Gamestation’s Steals of the Week continue. The only deal worth mentioning is Sniper: Ghost Warrior for £12.99. GAME’s extra incentive added on to their Deals of the Week is still 400 MSP for just £1.75 if a buyer purchases any of the Xbox 360 deals of the week.

Play’s two games for £20 offer went AWOL last week, so I assumed it had finished. It hasn’t, and it’s back this week with a list of games that can’t be bought for less than £10:
Assassin's Creed + Double Pack
Body and Brain Connection
Dead Space
Dragon Age: Origins
Far Cry 2 + Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Double Pack
Forza Motorsport 3 Ultimate Edition
Grand Theft Auto IV
Skate 3
Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing
Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent + Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas Double Pack
