Warner Brothers Interactive and Monolith Productions today announced Guardians of Middle-Earth
, a five-on-five Multiplayer Battle Arena (MOBA) game that also tie-ins to the upcoming The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
The game will feature over 20 characters, including the likes of Gandalf, Sauron, Gollum and Thráin, with more set to release just before the release of the film. Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President of Production and Development at Warner Brothers Interactive, said:
