As with any game with a large multiplayer component, tweaks are constantly being made to Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
to ensure the best possible gameplay experience. Thankfully for those of you who can't be parted from the game for more than a few seconds, the most recent update is cloud-based, meaning it happens in the background as you play. In fact, the latest set of fixes for Future Soldier
went live yesterday. Here's what's been updated:
Adjusted AK-47 Recoil/Firepower;
Increased Rate of Recovery on low rate of Fire LMGs;
Decreased Recoil and Firepower of Sniper Rifles, increased dispersion in Aim;
Modified Ammo Counts for Extended Mag/Drum Magazine (AK-200);
Amended description of FN Five SeveN in Gunsmith.
Increased the values of XP for Challenges;
Increased the Radius for XP Bonus for using Equipment near Objective.
Moved several objective locations (Mill, Sandstorm);
Fixed several map exploits.
A second, larger update is scheduled to happen today at around 6:00PM EDT to address progression loss issues. Ubisoft did not detail how long this extended maintenance period will take.
