I'll be honest, I was expecting a little more of an NFL Blitz type game from the title of Zombie Football Carnage, but this little wave based game is quite the gem itself.

Another beautiful game from Milkstone Studios, the graphics on this Indie Game are top notch. You have a football at your disposal to throw Peyton Manning-style fastballs into your enemies. You can also take all that football gear and put it to good use with a charged running attack.

The premise is simple. Survive the waves of zombies, bugs, and other baddies that come your way. You'll have plenty of gold and other pick-ups dropped by enemies to aid in your grid-iron conquest. You can also take that money and upgrade your attack stats in the upgrade shop between games.

Integrated awardables and on-line leader-boards give you an excellent opportunity to come back to this 80 MSP title for a future challenge. This is another fine title from the guys at Milkstone Studios that you should add to your Indie Games collection.

If you have an Xbox Live Indie Game that you feel should be featured in an edition of the Indie Games Spotlight, please PM your suggestions to mancide.

When not enjoying video games, our fearless newshound enjoys an nice pint of fermented barley and hops in a variety of styles. India Pale Ales, Stouts, Porters, Witbiers, Saisons, Gose, Lambics, Barleywine, you name it. If it has water, malted barley, hops and yeast in it, I'll consume it. I also enjoy all things technological, Doctor Who, wrasslin, traveling, and spending time with my family.
