Angry Birds Trilogy Coming to Xbox

Alfred Hitchcock would be enthralled with the news today, considering he scared the world with the classic movie The Birds back in 1963. Now we fast forward to today and the bird is the word again, only this time they are the famed Angry Birds.

It is time to put away your phone or computer, grab your controller or Kinect, and knock some blocks and pigs out for high scores, with The Angry Birds Collection that will be gracing your console. The collection will include Angry Birds: Rio, Angry Birds: Seasons, and of course the game that started it all, Angry Birds.

Rovio EVP of Games Petri Järvilehto told IGN:
You can think of the game as the ultimate collector's edition. There are new cinematics, extras and other entertaining content. In addition all of the existing material has been uprezzed and re-treated for the high-resolution and big screen." New "reactive" backgrounds take advantage of the fact that you're playing on a screen big enough to see backgrounds.
One of the new additions to The Angry Birds Collection is that we now will be able to catapult the birds via Kinect. Fans of The Angry Birds Collection can now rejoice by doing the Chicken Dance because we can expect it to release, on disc, sometime this holiday season. We will be sure to keep you up to date with all of the details surrounding the game's release.
