Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 Game Modes Trailer

Konami has released a new trailer for the latest iteration in their soccer simulation series,

After two members of the development team discussed some of the title's new additions at this year's E3 event, the newest video follows that up with more detailed footage of several game modes which are set to feature when the game arrives later this year.

In case you didn't catch everything which is covered in the trailer, a summary of each feature follows:

Performance Training will serve as a form of tutorial, where players will have the opportunity to hone their skills. Everything from basic dribbling to elaborate flicks and tricks can be mastered (and cleared) in the practice environment, by successfully executing the required skill.

The Online Modes look set to encourage truly global rivalries as players from different continents will be actively pitted against each other in online matches. Players will also be able to create Communities (practically equivalent to Clubs in the FIFA franchise), where they can utilise the social features of Pro Evolution Soccer 2013, such as in-game chat to contact friends and play each other, rather than have to take on randomly selected players from across the globe. The addition of Rival Rankings will heighten the social aspects of the game further by having players compete for virtual prize money.

It seems that the developer/publisher is really pushing the social implementation within the new title, as myPES will provide the option to upload your footballing stats to sites like Facebook, to share your accomplishments.

Football Life will encompass everything that takes place before and after each match. You can purchase training aids and other equipment to improve your team's training regime with the ultimate goal of ensuring continued success on the field of play.

It should be noted that Konami have the above trailer labelled as 'Episode 1'. Therefore, it is highly likely that we can expect more footage to be released in the future. In the meantime, you could check out the previous full-control gameplay trailer or screenshots.

You'll be able to start slide-tackling the achievements in Pro Evolution Soccer 2013, when it is released this Fall.
