As well as featuring all three of the main games, which were developed by Team 17, the Worms Collection will also include the six additional DLC packs that are currently available for Worms 2: Armageddon and Worms: Ultimate Mayhem from the Xbox LIVE Arcade Marketplace.

For those unfamiliar with the Worms franchise, here's a brief synopsis and several screenshots for each of the titles:

Worms - The beast that started it all, Worms was originally released for a legion of now defunct hardware platforms back in 1995, and since 2007 has found armies of new fans... In the game, teams of worms fight to the death using heavy artillery in turn-based battles, with the last worm standing declared the winner

The announcement promises that the Worms Collection will be available from August 31st, at a price we "can't afford to miss". Presently, it has not been confirmed (or denied) whether the triple pack is likely to be released for NTSC regions.
