January Marketplace Schedule

Much like they did with the December Marketplace Schedule, Microsoft today announced their upcoming marketplace plans over the rest of the month, from Deals of the Week to Games on Demand, it's all covered.

I had thought their December post was a one-off because of the holidays, been it seems they're planning to do this on a bimonthly basis from now on. Whether that's twice a month, or once every two months, it's not quite clear. Damn the English language!

Anyway, here it is, in chronological order:

January 12th - Games on Demand
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

January 14th - Avatar Marketplace
• Burton gear and Darksiders outfits

January 18th - Deal of the Week
Bring Down the Sky for Mass Effect, reduced from 400MSP to 240MSP
Pinnacle Station for Mass Effect, reduced from 400MSP to 240MSP
http://www.trueachievements.com/dlc.aspx?dlcid=80, reduced from 800MSP to 400MSP

January 20th - XBLA Wednesday
Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment - 1200 MSP
A prequel to the PS1 game Vandal Hearts, this strategy-based RPG has been in the works for nearly five years now. Developed by Konami, the game contains multiple endings and player characters that adapt to the user's style of gameplay.

Death by Cube - 800 MSP
Published by Square Enix, this bloody twin-stick shooter sees you take on the role of a robot fight against waves of cube enemies on a minimalist battlefield, levelling up your robot pal as you defend your base against waves of deadly cubes. The game was touted as the bloodiest game of TGS last year, and as the newly-released gameplay trailer shows, it's definitely a game for fans of copious amounts of crimson:

January 21st - Avatar Marketplace
• International attire, MX vs. ATV: Reflex, and University style outfits

January 25th - Deal of the Week
Portal: Still Alive, reduced from 1200MSP to 800MSP

January 26th - Games on Demand
Dead Rising (Xbox 360)

Also announced was that starting today, the following Games on Demand are now available at a lower price (though prices vary per region): BioShock (Xbox 360), Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, MX vs. ATV: Untamed, Saints Row, and Prey (Xbox 360).

And finally, Last.fm will be free for all Xbox Live Silver members this weekend, from Friday 15th January 'til Monday 18th January.
