L4D2 Cold Stream DLC Dated Again

By Mark Delaney, 6 years ago
Like a distant corner of The Twilight Zone or (spoiler alert!) the island on LOST(end of spoilers), time just seems to behave erratically within the confines of the Valve offices. Gamers have long laughed about the existence of Valve Time, with which many of you are surely familiar. The latest content to be affected by Valve's lapse in the space-time continuum is the "Cold Stream" DLC which, after over a year's worth of development since its announcement, was abruptly dated and delayed last week.

The developers took to Twitter to announce the new release date today, however.
We are set for the title update and the Cold Stream DLC to be released this Friday.
That's August 3rd, for those as absent-minded as me. As previously mentioned, the DLC will cost 560 MSP and there's still no word on whether it'll add new achievements to the Xbox 360 version.

Thanks to those of you who sent in this story to us.
