Pinball Arcade Packs 1 and 2 Hit the Marketplace

By Rebecca Smith, 5 years ago
After months of delays and certification issues, the first two table packs for The Pinball Arcade have finally been released onto the Marketplace. For some reason, both packs have been issued with May release dates, I'm assuming that it's in the hope that you didn't notice the delay.

The first add-on pack includes Medieval Madness and The Machine: Bride of Pin•Bot. Check out the trailer here for footage of both trailers in action. The "Two table add-on pack #1: Medieval Madness™(1997) and The Machine: Bride of Pin•Bot™(1991)" DLC costs 400 MSP and can be downloaded from here.

The second add-on pack includes Cirqus Voltaire and Funhouse. There's a preview video for the former here, while the latter gets a preview video here. The "Two table add-on pack #2: Cirqus Voltaire™ (1997) and Funhouse™ (1990)" DLC costs 400 MSP and can be downloaded from here.

Both of the DLC packs add two achievements to your gamerscore - one for each table in the pack and worth 15G each. Unfortunately, these are yet to be added to Those of you who unlock the achievements now will notice that they are not being added to your gamerscore or achievement total. I would advise holding off from playing the DLC until the achievements are added properly. Those of you who unlock the achievements beforehand will have to recover your gamertag and then earn the achievements again for them to be added to your gamerscore.

Those of you who are looking forward to the release of more tables for the game will be glad to know that Farsight Studios are already making plans for two more table packs. We have a new trailer that showcases the two tables arriving in "Table Pack 3": Gorgar and Monster Bash.

"Table Pack 4" will include Creature from the Black Lagoon and Black Knight, although more details on these are yet to be revealed. Tomorrow is due to see the release of a title update that corrects some of the issues found in the original launch tables. We'll let you know when we have more details, including a release date, on DLC packs 3 and 4.
