If you didn't get around to collecting the Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons achievements when it was last in Game Pass, now is your opportunity, as Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons rejoins Xbox Game Pass today. To be clear, this is the brilliant Xbox One version of the game and not the recent Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake, which launched in February with numerous performance issues.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons joins Xbox Game Pass today

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons became an instant classic when it launched on Xbox 360 Arcade in 2013, thanks to its innovative controls, fantastic puzzle design, and beautiful world. In fact, the original is so beloved that the game was remastered for Xbox One in 2015 and then remade for Xbox Series X|S earlier this year.

It follows the story of two brothers on a journey to find a cure for their dying father, relying on their bond as siblings to survive. When played in single-player, both brothers are controlled simultaneously via each toggle on your controller, while co-op gives each player control of one brother. It's a fantastic game about the bond of family, and dramatically pits the pair against a myriad of hurdles on their quest to find the Water of Life, including boss fights and environmental puzzles.

Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscribers can play Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, while Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can also stream it via Xbox Cloud Gaming. Be aware that even though it can be played on PC, only the Xbox One version has achievements, so if you're looking to grab that 1,000 Gamerscore, you'll need to play on console.

Now that we're around halfway through May, we expect Microsoft to reveal another batch of games coming to Game Pass soon, so keep an eye on our homepage!
