DC Universe Online freebie lets you instantly unlock some Xbox achievements

Daybreak Games is giving away a free DC Universe Online character boost for all players, which lets you skip the grind and instantly pop some Xbox achievements.

If you've been working your way through the DC Universe Online achievements by using character boosts, Daybreak Games has another one for you. To celebrate the release of the new Harley Quinn vs. Apokolips episode, Daybreak is giving all players a free DC Universe Online character boost, which can be used to potentially unlock up to three achievements in the Xbox MMO.

DC Universe Online free character boost up for grabs

For those unaware, the free character boost will instantly increase a character's level to level 30, which could also pop three achievements. You'll unlock one achievement for getting to level 10, depending on your character build, another for reaching level 30 with a specific movement type, and a third achievement for hitting level 30 as a hero or a villain with a mentor. The boost can be used on either an existing character or a new one and will save you a fair few hours of grinding.

To claim your free character boost, Daybreak Games says you will need to log in to DC Universe Online before October 14, 2024.

In other freebie news, several Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks for September 2024 will soon expire, so if you're an Ultimate subscriber, make sure you claim and redeem those Perks before they're gone for good.
