Microsoft has now revealed this weekend's free Xbox games with Free Play Days. Those with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, or Core subscription can now play Across the Obelisk, Astroneer, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, and Train Sim World 5 for free for free until Monday, November 11.

Xbox Free Play Days games

Interestingly, Microsoft has included a brand new game in Free Play Days this weekend. Across the Obelisk, which launched on November 6, is a roguelite deckbuilder with a unique multiplayer spin. Playing solo or with your pals in co-op, you will create a party from a diverse range of characters, engage in tactical card-based combat, and navigate your way through a treacherous world that changes based on your decisions to save the king's daughter. As it's a new release, we obviously can't give you a completion estimate.

Astroneer is included in all three tiers of Xbox Game Pass, so it's likely that the sandbox adventure game is free to all Xbox users this weekend, regardless of a subscription. If you're interested in checking this one out, just be aware that a base list completion here will take between 60 and 80 hours.

If you didn't quite manage to finish Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising when it was included with Game Pass, now is your chance to grab any remaining achievements you might need. For new plays, a completion here is estimated to take around 25 hours.

As for Train Sim World 5, the sim is currently included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, so Ultimate subscribers, your achievement-hunting time this weekend will be better spent elsewhere. For the Standard and Core members, Free Play Days is your chance to check out what Train Sim World 5 has to offer.

If you're an Ultimate subscriber, don't forget to claim your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks for November 2024.
