If you've been waiting for a physical copy before tackling the Pentiment achievements and Hi-Fi RUSH achievements, we have some good news for you. Limited Run Games has announced it is releasing physical copies of both Pentiment and Hi-Fi Rush this year.

Following news of Pentiment and Hi-Fi Rush going multiplatform, Bethesda and Obsidian revealed in blog posts that Limited Run would be producing physical versions of each game on all platforms.

Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment are finally getting physical Xbox releases

Pentiment, which launches today on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, is up first for the physical treatment, with preorders opening today at $34.99. Limited Run says physical copies of Pentiment will only be available to order up until March 24.

The physical edition of Hi-Fi Rush will be available to purchase for Xbox Series X|S and PS5, though a release date has not yet been announced.

While it might not be the widest physical release we've ever seen, at least it's something for physical game fans. Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment are some of the best Xbox exclusives (well, not exclusive for much longer now, I suppose), and physical versions should be out there for players to enjoy. I am now hopeful that Microsoft will release physical copies of digital-only Hellblade 2 somewhere down the line, even if it is through Limited Run — Phil Spencer did say Xbox is not getting rid of physical media any time soon, didn't he?
