In the latest update to this twin-stick roguelite, you can see a new mechanic in action where the parasite lays eggs in dead enemies, which turn into allies that follow you around.
It's got a steampunk Victorian setting with the location being 1899 London. In the game, Kit and a cat go on an adventure that will see her meeting famous artists of the period, like Jules Verne.
The purple chicken spaceman even has his own theme song that is on full display in the E3 trailer, in case you were at all confused about just what kind of tone this game was hoping to set.
