A new patch just dropped which aimed to rebuild the achievement system to sort out Lightyear Frontier achievement issues, but unfortunately seems to have introduced some achievement problems of its own. Luckily, the devs are already aware and hopefully a new patch will soon be on the way for what is gearing up to become one of the best Game Pass games!Lightyear Frontier patch now liveFirst things first: a new Lightyear Frontier patch is now live with a number of changes and bug fixes. One key point is that, according to the patch notes, the patch has "Rebuilt the Achievement system to fix issues where some achievements wouldn’t unlock for some players." If you go into the Lightyear Frontier forum here on TrueAchievements, you'll see players are indeed reporting issues with several achievements, such as the Spotless achievement and the Hygge Apprentice achievement.However, since the patch went live, players are now reporting more issues with achievements no longer tracking or popping. Luckily, the Lightyear Frontier subreddit already has a response from the devs, with Frame Break saying, "Seems like the latest patch caused issues with achievements no longer unlocking. The team is on top of it working on a fix to be ready ASAP. Rest assured, no progress is lost and your achievements should unlock when you start the game after the new patch is out. Thank you for your patience, Exofarmers!"Lightyear Frontier is still very early on in its Game Preview journey, having just released last month, and no doubt has some grand plans for the future.
