If you're working through the Star Wars Outlaws achievements and have found the experience to be less than stellar, Ubisoft has some good news for you. Following disappointing initial Star Wars Outlaws sales, Ubisoft says it plans to "swiftly" roll out updates to polish and improve the open world Xbox game.

Star Wars Outlaws will receive a "series of updates" to improve the game

In a press release to investors, Ubisoft revealed that initial sales for Star Wars Outlaws "proved softer than expected" despite decent ratings. The publisher added that in response to player feedback, its development teams are "currently fully mobilized to swiftly implement a series of updates to polish and improve the player experience in order to engage a large audience during the holiday season to position Star Wars Outlaws as a strong long-term performer."

Over on X, the Star Wars Outlaws team said it is hard at work creating "multiple title updates," which will bring optimization, polish, and gameplay tweaks. Quality-of-life changes, as well as adjustments to combat and stealth, are apparently also on the way.

Ubisoft also confirmed that new contracts will be added to the game for free in a future update and that Star Wars Outlaws' first story expansion, Wild Card, will launch on November 21. This expansion sees Kay and Nix take part in a high-stakes Sabacc tournament with Lando Calrissian.

Elsewhere, Ubisoft has delayed Assassin's Creed Shadows to February 2025.
