Players exploring the galaxy for the Starfield achievements can now race around in a REV-8, a land vehicle being added via a free update on Xbox Series X|S and PC today. Plus, Starfield's Shattered Space DLC release date has been announced as September 30 — to hopefully prove it still further as one of the best games on Game Pass.

Starfield's Shattered Space DLC arrives in September

Gamescom's Opening Night Live has given us a double dose of Starfield goodness, including the Shattered Space DLC's release date. We'll be able to dive into the lives of House Va'Runn and explore their homeworld city of Dazra from September 20, when the DLC rolls out on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Before that, though, we'll also be able to race around the many planets in our very own REV-8, a land cruiser that will allow us to "reach new heights" according to the trailer's description. The long-awaited vehicles arrive in Starfield today via a free update for all players.

Starfield: Shattered Space launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC on September 30.
