There are some free The Elder Scrolls Online achievements up for grabs throughout March, as ZeniMax Online is beginning the game's tenth-anniversary celebrations by offering free Elder Scrolls Online DLC. If you've been meaning to jump into one of the best MMOs on Xbox, now could be a great time.

As announced on The Elder Scrolls Online's website, all players who log into the game on two separate days during March will be able to claim the Orsinium DLC for free via the Daily Login Rewards tab. The DLC unlocks the Wrothgar zone, filled with quests, world bosses to conquer, delves and public dungeons to explore, and more.

Alongside the content found in the Wrothgar zone, the DLC also packs in six Orsinum achievements worth 220G to unlock along the way. While estimates suggest it'll take around 30 hours to unlock all of them, you'll need much more time than that to clear the list as a newcomer. It's a fantastic expansion for single-player fun, with Wrothgar offering an abundance of fantastic quests, including its main questline which sees you helping the Orc King Kuroc unite the clans under a single banner. The issue you'll have completing the Orsinium DLC as a new player is the Maelstrom Arena content, which two of the achievements are linked to, and which is actually end-game content for players looking for a challenge — and challenge it is! Don't let that put you off, though, because just playing through the story content could hook you on the game for hundreds of hours to come!

As a bonus, ZeniMax is also offering some sweet rewards for players who unlock specific in-game achievements for the Wrothgar zone. Players who defeat four different world bosses for the Defender of Orsinium in-game achievement will be able to claim the Eternity Tunic with Pants, the “Brilliance” Brocade Robes, and the Summit Lord’s Silken Robes costumes from the Crown Store for free, while completing Wrothgar's main questline for the Kingmaker achievement also gives you access to the Inkfur Ursauk mount.

Fear not veteran players, as these items unlock retroactively, so if you've completed the in-game achievements in the past you can just download the costumes and mount from the Crown Store without any extra work.

Now is a fantastic time to dive into the game if you haven't already, as this year's major expansion, The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road, will be taking us to the autumnal landscapes of West Weald — last explored in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
