Cities: Skylines, SnowRunner, and Control: Ultimate Edition (which is one of the best Xbox action-adventure games out there) are all now available to play with Xbox Game Pass Core. Control: Ultimate EditionControl is a third-person action-adventure game from the brilliant minds over at Remedy Entertainment. The supernatural thriller revolves around the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) — a clandestine government agency responsible for investigating the paranormal. In search of answers about her brother's missing whereabouts, protagonist Jesse Faden finds herself at the FBC's headquarters — The Oldest House — where she soon discovers that the agency has been taken over by a corruptive force known as the Hiss. It's up to you, as Jesse Faden, to defeat the Hiss, find her brother, and uncover the secrets of The Oldest House. The Ultimate Edition of Control includes all DLC packs previously released for the game, including the expansions The Foundation and AWE. If you're thinking about going for the completion, unlocking all 67 Control: Ultimate Edition achievements will take around 35 hours. For a helping hand, make sure you give our Control: Ultimate Edition walkthrough a read. As a little extra, the standard version of Control, which has its own list of achievements, is also now included with Xbox Game Pass Core, so you can play through both versions for even more Gamerscore. Cities: SkylinesCities: Skylines lets you live out your wildest city-building dreams. One of the best management games around, Cities: Skylines puts you in charge of growing a city from nothing but empty fields into a bustling metropolis with thousands of citizens and their ever-growing needs. For the Cities: Skylines achievements, you'll need to set aside between 150 and 200 hours for the 1,000G. The game does have multiple DLC packs and title updates, which, if you were to buy them all, would bump that completion time up to around 375 hours. If needed, we do have a superb Cities: Skylines walkthrough. SnowRunnerThe third and final game joining Xbox Game Pass Core with this drop is the muddy SnowRunner. With over 40 vehicles available to unlock, you will battle against the elements and overcome mud, snow, and freezing waters to complete dangerous contracts and missions in this open-world simulation game. The SnowRunner achievements will prove a challenge to beat, and according to estimates, you'll need between 150 and 200 hours for the completion. Microsoft also recently announced the next batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in August 2024, which includes Atlas Fallen and Core Keeper.Xbox Game Pass CoreXbox Series X|SXbox One Written by Sean CareyA big fan of Xbox achievements, Sean has committed to playing as many of the best RPGs, racing games, and first-person shooters on and off Xbox Game Pass as possible.
