While we have some great upcoming Game Pass games on the way, Microsoft has now confirmed the next round of games leaving Xbox Game Pass in August 2024, with Atomic Heart, NBA 2K24 (Xbox One), NBA 2K24, and Guilty Gear -Strive- set to leave the service in the next two weeks.

More games leaving Xbox Game Pass in August 2024

NBA 2K24 wasn't a big surprise, as 2K Games announced shortly after the basketball sim joined the service that it would be leaving on August 31. As it stands, only 36 of the over 54,000 tracked gamers here on TrueAchievements have completed NBA 2K24, with NBA 2K24 (Xbox One) having been completed by 24 of the over 11,000 tracked gamers. Things are still more tricky with the Xbox One version of the game, which has five more achievements than the Xbox Series X|S version, and one discontinued achievement.

Atomic Heart, meanwhile, has an estimated completion time of 40 to 50 hours for its base game, although interestingly, all ten achievements for its paid Trapped in Limbo DLC are still showing as being worth 0 Gamerscore. As for the base game, there are a few missables to watch out for. Guilty Gear -Strive- meanwhile has an estimated completion time of around 15 to 20 hours, and is worth taking a look at anyway if you're interested in the Best Xbox fighting games.

As it stands, Xbox has four games confirmed for Game Pass in September so far, so there's more coming to look forward to. We're also hoping that, somewhere in all those Xbox plans for Gamescom 2024, is a big announcement of what's coming to Game Pass in the future.
