We won't have to wait long to get to grips with the Galacticare achievements and we can move the sci-fi hospital management game out of the "early 2024" section of our list of all the upcoming Game Pass games, as the Xbox Game Pass release date for Galacticare has been confirmed: it arrives on May 23!

Xbox Game Pass lines up another May addition with Galacticare

"Build, manage and optimise intergalactic hospitals! Recruit staff to satisfy the whims of various alien species, and cure their bizarre illnesses — for money! Save the (literal) Galaxy in story mode, or head into sandbox to design the hospital of your dreams," developer Brightrock Games says, adding that Galacticare offers "complex mechanics and a rich narrative." We'll be doing everything from designing our hospital to offering healthcare for deep-space prisons and treating whole planets, as well as a whole lot of other bizarre challenges the galaxy has to offer.

The trailer above only mentions an Xbox Series X|S release date of May 23, but we've been able to confirm that Galacticare is still set to come to Game Pass as a day-one addition. May's already looking very promising for Game Pass players: we've got one of the major upcoming Xbox exclusives arriving with Senua's Saga: Hellblade II on May 21 (for more on that, check out Sean's round-up of everything we know about Hellblade 2, and before that, a number of great-looking indies such as Little Kitty, Big City.
