New games coming to Game Pass Core in April 2024

April 23
Following the hot start to April with new additions like Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and Lego 2K Drive, Xbox Game Pass will be ending the month with some great games.

On April 17, Robot Entertainment's fantasy strategy game Orcs Must Die! 3 brings its chaotic tower defense co-op orc-slaying to the service. Looking at our completion estimates, it should take between 50 and 65 hours to unlock all 38 achievements.

EA Sport's NHL 24 follows suit on April 18 by joining Xbox Game Pass via EA Play, so you'll need to be an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber to make the most of this new addition if you don't have an EA Play membership. Unfortunately, we don't have enough data for a completion estimate yet, but there are 50 achievements to unlock — and a separate NHL 24 stack for Xbox One if you fancy double dipping.

On April 23, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes launches on Xbox, dropping straight into Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. It's a JRPG set within a 2.5D world filled with war, magic, and adventure. While battling through the chaos with your chosen team of six companions will make up a chunk of your playtime, you'll also get to manage your own town and partake in mini-games in your downtime.

As of April 25, you'll be able to play potentially one of the cutest Soulslikes by way of Another Crab's Treasure when it launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Stepping into the shell of Kril the hermit crab, Another Crab's Treasure sees you wearing trash from the ocean floor for protection as you battle numerous enemies on your quests to buy back Kril's repossessed shell, and maybe learn the secrets behind the pollution plaguing his underwater world. Check out our interview with Aggro Crab for a deep dive into Another Crab's Treasure.

Manor Lords then stampedes into Early Access on PC on April 26, offering you strategic gameplay set within a medieval world. As a ruling lord, you'll need to lead your troops in large-scale battles, master social and economic simulations, and bring glory to your city.

Rounding out the month on April 30 is Have a Nice Death, a 2D action roguelike from Magic Design Studios. You play as an overworked Death struggling to keep control of his employees. You'll need to grab your scythe and reap the souls yourself. Although Have a Nice Death launched back in December, we don't have enough data for a completion estimate yet, but there are 37 achievements to collect.

For Xbox Game Pass Core subscribers, keep an eye on your library of games, as Deep Rock Galactic, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, and Wreckfest will be added to your library on April 23.

As for games leaving the service this month, Microsoft has confirmed that Xbox Game Pass will lose six games on April 30.
