It seems that Xbox Game Pass subscribers have been going to town on the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy achievements since it was added to the service last week, as the Xbox platformer has managed to grab 11th place in our latest Xbox Gameplay Chart of the top 40 most popular Xbox games.

Crash Bandicoot Trilogy almost cracks top ten in chart of most popular Xbox games

At the top of our Xbox Gameplay Chart, it's all pretty static — Call of Duty remains firmly on top, while Fortnite, Minecraft, Rainbow Six Siege, and Rocket League all jostle for new positions in the top ten. Interestingly, the latest big free-to-play sensation, Valorant, which debuted in our chart last week in eighth, has slipped a couple of places down to 10th.

Outside of the top ten, we see Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy make an impressive Xbox Gameplay Chart debut in 11th place, which is, of course, down to the remastered collection of games finally hitting Xbox Game Pass last week.

Towards the middle of the table, Diablo IV has clambered up several places from 24th last week to 18th position, thanks to the launch of Season 5: Infernal Hordes. New Xbox Game Pass release Doom + Doom II has also had a successful launch with the new enhanced versions of the two first-person shooters claiming 25th place.

At the bottom, 7 Days to Die continues its surge up the chart, claiming another two place and moving up to 31st position. We also see that XDefiant remains firm in 39th, while the Xbox Game Pass sensation Palworld holds on to the 40th spot.

As for next week's chart, it's hard to tell what could appear from our list of new Xbox games. Perhaps the Xbox Series X|S release of Hunt: Showdown 1896 will boost it into the top 40? Maybe Mafia: Definitive Edition, which is coming to Xbox Game Pass soon, will also make an appearance? With Gamescom around the corner, the week ahead is pretty quiet in terms of big, notable releases, so anything could happen!
