Grand Theft Auto V and EA Sports FC 25 have swapped places in our latest Xbox gameplay chart, with GTA V returning to the top five and marking the only change in a top ten which is otherwise refusing to budge this week. Further down, it looks as though more players are charging in to do battle with the Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero achievements, which has moved up four spaces to 12th after launching earlier in the month.

After a fair bit of shuffling around, the next major change is South Park: The Fractured but Whole making its first appearance in the top 40 at 22nd after joining Game Pass, with MechWarrior 5: Clans, another recent Game Pass addition, following suit and making its debut appearance at 25th. Starfield, on the other hand, has dropped several places this week, presumably as players finish up with its Shattered Space expansion.

Newer Game Pass additions often coincide with a drop for older ones, and both Inscryption and Sifu have dropped this week, with Inscryption just dropping one place to 28th, while Sifu has fallen ten places to 29th. Throne and Liberty has dropped nine spaces to 32nd, and it's not until DayZ that we see an upward shift. The survival game re-joins the top 40 at 37th this week after the launch of its Frostline expansion, and it'll be interesting to see whether this boost will keep it in the chart next week. Rounding out the top 40 are Battlefield 2042 and Fallout 76, which have swapped places at 39th and 40th.

The time has almost come for the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which as one of the biggest releases this year and one of the biggest upcoming Game Pass games to boot, will no doubt cause some havoc in the top 40 for some time to come.
