We'll zoom past the top ten of our latest Xbox gameplay chart as it's mostly undisturbed (Call of Duty is of course still in first place) aside from Forza Horizon 5 rising to ninth and Overwatch 2 dropping to tenth. As we've seen frequently in recent charts, the bigger changes happen further down the top 40, and this week sees a number of new titles and reappearances from older games. Let's dive in...

Firstly, we've got Halo Infinite jumping from 18th to 12th after its big winter update arrived with a Halo 2-inspired playlist, third-person Firefight, and more. Apex Legends has also shifted up a bit, while a number of sports games have been booted down a few spots: EA Sports College Football 25 has dropped to 14th, with EA Sports FC 24 falling to 15th, and NBA 2K25 shifting to 16th. Diablo 4 had previously seen a rise in Xbox players after its Vessel of Hatred expansion last month, but has slipped four places to 18th. Just below, Metal Slug Tactics makes its first appearance in the top 40 at 19th after joining Game Pass last week.

Phasmophobia is on the rise after launching at the end of October, and comes to rest this week at 22nd. Dragon Age: The Veilguard, meanwhile, has moved up one spot to 24th. It's been out for almost two weeks, so it's interesting to see BioWare's action-RPG hasn't really moved much yet. Goat Simulator: Remastered makes its first appearance at 25th following its launch into Game Pass a few days ago, with Goat Simulator 3 at 31st. Then we come to Death Stranding Director's Cut, which took everyone by surprise when it shadow-dropped on Xbox last week. It's making its first appearance at 33rd, and it seems everyone's taking advantage of the current 50% discount — just keep an eye out for its Quick Resume bug on Xbox. Just below that is Stardew Valley, which re-joins the top 40 at 34th after its major 1.6 update at last arrived for Xbox. Aside from Dead Island 2 shifting up a few places, everything after Stardew Valley is dropping, with Warframe landing this week at 40th.

With all the upcoming Game Pass games on the way, we're likely to see more movement on future charts, especially with biggies like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on the way.
